The Accounting Team manages  all financial aspects of our client’s accounts to include treasury management, check printing, invoicing, jurisdictional filing, 1099 reporting & financial reporting to our parent company. 

Markie Hewett, Accounting Director 

Manages the Accounting Department for PAI’s Specialty and ACA lines of business.  Markie has been with the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina family for more than 14 years, 9 of which have been at PAI. 

Anna Morris, Accounting Manager

Manages all aspects of payment applications for Limited Benefits, MEC, MVP and ESC 5500 business including, but not limited to invoicing and collections. Anna has worked with PAI for 14 years.

Tia Wynder, Accounting Supervisor

Supervises all ACA plans which includes all monthly MEC groups in addition to all Indemnity List Bills groups with invoicing and payment application. Tia has worked with PAI for 7 years.

Jamey Martin, Accounting Supervisor

Supervises the invoicing and payment application for all Limited Benefit and weekly MEC groups. She has worked with PAI for 11 years.

Rosalind Cole, Manager of Accounting

Manages Blue Solutions Administrator, LLC (BSA’s) accounting department; along with PAI’s Claims Funding and National Alliance business. She previously managed PAI’s Self-Funded accounting department, including the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable area until December 2020.  She has worked with the BCBSSC family for 30 years, all of which have been at PAI!

Ashley Ellis, Accounting Supervisor

Manages Claims Funding and the National Alliance business.  She has worked in the Insurance industry for over 12 years and has been with BlueCross family for over 8 years.

Tammie Howell, Accounting Manager 

Manages PAI’s Accounts Payable area which includes, but is not limited to, managing vendor setup and payment. In addition, Tammie oversees banking transaction for various PAI accounts. Tammie has been with BlueCross family for 22 years, 14 of which have been with PAI.

Jameka Benson, Accounting Supervisor

Supervises PAI’s Accounts Payable area by ensuring all vendors have appropriate documentation and approvals on file. She also oversees the cash receipts process. Jameka has been with BlueCross family for 18 years, 11 of which have been with PAI.
